Current Status:

A job description was developed and posted for a curriculum writer to create a 5-day plant science program for students in grades K–5. Applications were reviewed, and a writer was hired in Spring 2026. The curriculum is scheduled for implementation in the Summer 2027 Kids on Kycia Camp.

Registration opened for Kids on Kycia Camps for Summer 2026, offering two weeks for students in grades K–2 and one week for grades 3–5, using curriculum that was developed in the fall.

A camp director was hired to oversee all three weeks of Summer 2026 camps, which will be held at Hanmer School.
