Current Status:

The restoration firm has completed work on the cupola itself. The consultant has also completed the investigation regarding reattachment. During the investigation it was found that stabilization work is required on the truss system located below the room and above the second floor ceiling. A funding application has been submitted for Congressional Directed Spending for this project. Meanwhile, cupola reattachment is on hold, and the completion date of the cupola project is being pushed out to next fall.
