Current Status:

The project is currently on hold as staff pursue additional funding to address repairs identified in Spring 2026 and evaluate the property's long-term use.

Physical Services submitted a $100,000 CIP request titled Solomon Welles House Porch Safety and ADA Compliance Improvements. A decision from the Town Council is expected in May.  Funding was not provided by the Town Council during the budget process.  We are continuing to provide basic maintenance utilizing town staff as we pursue outside funding opportunities.
